About Me

Hi, I’m Lindsay—the designer, maker, and one-woman team behind Day Off Studios.

I started Day Off Studios in 2020 as a creative escape and a way to give forgotten textiles a new life. After studying visual merchandising at LIM College and working in fashion and creative production in New York City, I moved to Charleston and returned to what I’ve always loved most: making things by hand.

Every Day Off Studios piece is designed, embroidered, or sewn by me in my Charleston studio. I work with vintage tablecloths, quilts, tea towels, button-down shirts, and other secondhand materials to create clothing and accessories that feel playful, nostalgic, and completely one of a kind.

Because I use vintage and repurposed textiles, no two pieces are ever exactly alike. The little variations, signs of age, and unexpected details are part of what make each creation special.

Thank you for supporting slow fashion, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a very small business. I hope you find something that makes getting dressed feel a little more fun.
